Books
Access to quality, up-to-date scientific information is key to any
research endeavour. The ICBSS thus collects publications concerning a
wide range of Black Sea related issues in an in-house library, aiming to
establish a comprehensive information point for Black Sea Studies. The
library contains a collection of around 500 scientific books, 30
journals on subscription basis and other periodical publications
organised in thematic sections according to specific areas of interest.
While most of the books and periodicals are in English, there is a
collection of publications in Greek and Russian. The library has an
electronic catalogue.
The library is open to the public, by appointment only, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Users may search and consult documents in-house and short loans are available for books. Assistance with the search and limited free photocopying services can also be provided. For more information please contact +30 210 324 2321.
